Crying in Silence

I lie here crying,
I lie here weeping,
silent sobbing,
while the kids are sleeping,
stained red blade slides across my wrist,
while my cold dead hand keeps it’s fist,
tears pour down my face,
and my throat fills with a warm metallic taste,
as my eyes start shutting,
I keep on cutting,
my heart starts pounding,
the kids have found me,
I give them a glance,
their faces in shock,
their pale white faces hard like a rock,
to think this wouldnt have happened,
if someone had cared,
if someone had stopped me,
if only you were there…
